Theme Notebook

Theme of study is wise and foolish
Theme notebook#1
Quote:
The quote I chose is "The price of wisdom is above rubies." ~Job 28:18. It is in the bible.
The connection to my theme is that having wisdom(being wise) is a very good thing but if you are foolish you will never be successful. This is a quote in the bible about foolishness "He who is born foolish will never be cured"

Theme notebook#2
Daedalus and Icarus
There is a connection between this theme and the story Daedalus and Icarus because Daedalus was wise in building wings to escape but foolish in inventing it when it is not suitable for Icarus. Daedalus was also wise in building the labyrinth as prisoners can't find their way out when trap but foolish because it was for another reason, keeping the minotaur and poor king Aegeus will have to send tributes to get eaten by the minotaur.

Theme notebook#3
The Blokes
Though the Blokes is just a short story, but it has a strong connection to the theme Wise and Foolish.
The theme foolish represents John as he did what the Blokes wanted(destroying Hashim's model of Kosovo). He could have rejected and told a teacher but he did not that why he is foolish. The theme wise represents Hashim as he chose not to give up and chose to do something with his broken work. He is also wise in the sense that he can also change the broken work into something beautiful again.

Theme notebook#4
Fox
The story Fox has many connections with the theme wise and foolish. Dog was foolish in not taking Magpie seriously about Fox. Magpie was also foolish in leaving dog and following Fox. Fox was a very wise but cunning animal.
